The Candlestick Bakery was founded by Ogechi Bajomo in 2014 following careers in the Biochemical Sciences, Education, and the Charity Sector, however her passion for cake making started much earlier in the kitchen with her mother.
Ogechi's background in the chemistry lab makes her very much at ease with the measurements and attention to detail needed to create perfect cake recipes. From real vanilla bean sponge cake to the fudgey chocolate truffle cake, each recipe is worked on with care and attention to create the perfect taste that will impress your guests and she is dedicated to using only highest quality ingredients where possible.
Our mission is to create beautifully handcrafted cakes that taste as exquisite as they look. Our wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cupcakes are decorated with individually handmade and hand painted edible sugar flowers, lace, pearls and gems.
